旅行2日目、この日は長野に行きました。新潟の糸魚川から長野の小谷（おたり）村へ入るのですが、その間がトンネルばかりで運転するのがとても疲れました。トンネルは狭いし長いし夜みたいに暗いし、換気も悪くトラックの排気ガスが充満していて、まるで霧がかかっているかのように煙っていました。トラックにあおられることが多いので、ライトをつけて集中して運転しないと、事故りますよ死にますよ。こちらにいらっしゃるときはお気をつけて。
白馬村のペンションです。前日の夜に新潟のホテルで、ネットで調べて電話予約をしました。
そのとき、
「今はヒマです～」
と言われ、正直ここで大丈夫かなと思ったのですが、ちょうどこの時期が空いていただけだったようです。気のいい夫婦がやっているペンションでした。
他県ナンバーの車がたくさん停まっていました。道行く人とあいさつしながら少し話をしたら、ここに所有している別荘と都会の本宅を行ったり来たりしてるんですって。道端には赤じそが普通に生えていたり、まだわらびやタラの芽もありました。標高900メートル強。地上が30度のときにここは18度くらいでした。

We went to Nagano on the second day of the trip.
Hakuba Station
Hakuba means a white horse. Sometimes women say “Mr. Right will be coming with a white horse” …………anyway.
Nagano Winter Olympic took place there, so we saw slopes for ski jump. Can you see “Hakuba” and “Nagano” on there? Ummm, maybe not. It's too small to see..... Left slope says Hakuba, and means Hakuba Village paid for making it. Right one says Nagano; it made by Nagano prefecture.
On the way to a hotel, I tried to take this foot bath. It’s outside and free. There are some free foot baths around. If you see it, you can try!
I stayed at a kind of B&B hotel. We walked around before dinner.
Unfortunately, it was cloudy. Mountains were over the clouds.
These are for 2 people. I was sooooooooooo full because a couple who cooked everything were there and kept talking to us while looking at us when we were eating. Anyway, it was good =)

This is the mountain in the next morning. It was sunny. People who live there haven’t seen such a nice view for 4 months, so everybody told us we were very lucky!
I also had big breakfast =)
